A loan of 60 million dollars from the Asian Development Bank for road development.

Sri Lanka is set to receive a $60 million loan from the Asian Development Bank for the Comprehensive Integrated Road Investment Program aimed at increasing road safety and reducing public inconvenience.

The loan agreement was officially signed yesterday by Mahinda Siriwardena, Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policy and Takafumi Kadono, Director of the Sri Lanka Resident Mission of the Asian Development Bank.

The Sri Lankan government has borne 8.5 million dollars for this project, which has a total cost of 68.5 million dollars.
