The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has proposed a 1.46% increase in electricity tariffs for the fourth quarter of 2026.
This proposal follows a review of a submission by the National System Operator (NSO), which had recommended a 2.88% hike in electricity tariffs for the same period.
A final decision regarding the tariff revision will be reached following a public consultation scheduled for tomorrow (05). The Public Utilities Commission invites interested parties wishing to share their views to contact them at 0770399119.
