Pradeep Kariyawasam, the husband of former Chief Justice Shirani Bandaranayake, has been arrested by officials from the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.
He was arrested in connection with investigations into allegations against former First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa.
Pradeep Kariyawasam is also the former Chairman of the National Savings Bank (NSB).
