The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has increased fuel prices, effective from midnight yesterday (30). Under the new price revision, the price of a liter of Octane 92 petrol has been raised by Rs. 15, bringing the new price to Rs. 414.
However, the price of Octane 95 petrol previously Rs. 475 per liter remains unchanged.
Meanwhile, the price of a liter of Super Diesel has been increased by Rs. 50; consequently, the price has risen from Rs. 478 to Rs. 528.
Additionally, the price of a liter of standard diesel (Auto Diesel) has been raised by Rs. 10, bringing the new price to Rs. 392.
There has been no increase in the price of kerosene. Lanka IOC has also raised its prices in line with these adjustments.
