10 people traveling in the bus have been admitted to the Kataragama Hospital after a wild elephant attacked a private bus on the Kataragama-Buttala road. The elephant attacked a bus traveling on the Buttala-Kataragama road at around 11 am today. The attack caused the bus to overturn.
About 10 people injured in the accident have been admitted to the Kataragama Hospital for treatment. A spokesperson for the Kataragama Hospital said that the condition of the injured is not serious.
