Indian Foreign Secretary meets the President.

The Indian High Commission in Colombo said on its ‘X’ account that Indian Foreign Secretary Sri Vikram Misri met with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

The discussions focused on reviewing issues of mutual interest and major bilateral projects, including India-assisted development projects in Sri Lanka.

During the meeting, loan waiver agreements worth US$ 350 million were exchanged, part of the US$ 450 million reconstruction package extended to Sri Lanka following Cyclone Ditva.
