The Department of Labor says that the Department’s public services will not be operational during that period as essential maintenance work is scheduled to be carried out on the computer system of the Department of Labor on the 30th and 31st.
Issuing a statement, the department said that due to this, public services related to the Employee Provident Fund Data System and the Digital EPF System at the head office and all zonal, district and sub-labor offices will not be available on these two days.
Accordingly, since public services including benefit payments and registrations will not be available on these two days, all those who have previously reserved an appointment to receive services on these days can come to the relevant labor office on any office day within a month, the Labor Department said in a statement.
