The government has reportedly decided to invite international competitive bids for the sale of a stock of high-quality mineral sand, including ilmenite, produced by processing mineral sand.
Accordingly, the following bids are to be invited and sold: Refined Ilmenite, Grade A and B Ilmenite, Zircon, Rutile, hiTi Ilmenite and Crude Rutile.
The bids can be submitted online, and Pulmuda Mineral Sand Company, which owns the mineral sand stock, has decided to allow buyers to place orders according to the required quantities. Qualified local parties interested in making value-added products using mineral sand have also been given the opportunity to submit these bids.
All bids received are to be opened on July 21st at the Ministry of Industries and Entrepreneurship Development auditorium before the Opening Committee.
