Fort Magistrate Pasan Amarasena has issued an order today (03) prohibiting former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and two army officers from leaving the country.
The decision was announced when the court convened the trial related to the Easter Sunday terror attacks, in which former Chief of the State Intelligence Service, retired Major General Suresh Sale, was named as a suspect. The foreign travel ban is in effect in connection with the ongoing investigations into the Easter attacks
