Despite the current government constantly informing about the shortage of spare parts essential for railway repairs and the lack of proper management, the Railway Station Masters Association says that the minister is not taking any steps or responding to it.
The association points out that there is a questionable situation regarding the maintenance of the railway lines and the locomotives, and that even though the development work on the Northern Railway has been completed, the Yal Devi Train and the Uttara Devi Train cannot be run due to the lack of sufficient locomotives and power sets.
