The Government Medical Officers Association has decided to resume a 48-hour island-wide strike tomorrow (9) from 8 a.m., it has been reported.
A spokesperson for the association, who spoke to the media in this regard, said that the decision was taken due to the Ministry of Health taking steps to grant the relevant appointments in violation of the agreements reached with the association regarding the granting of intern medical appointments.
