Former Minister Ali Sabri says that considering the current military situation in the Middle East, the decision to distribute fuel in the local market using the QR code system is a very good decision.
He expressed these views while addressing a press conference held yesterday.
He said that consumption should be reduced for a certain period of time, but the government should ensure that the economy does not contract through that reduction.
He said that he was not very keen on the Wednesday holiday given by the government, and that the decision should be reconsidered as stopping government work on a day in the middle of the week could cause some disruption to the work that needs to be done during the week.
