The United Lanka Fuel Transport Bowser Owners Association (ULFTBOA) says that the current management has distorted the pricing formula implemented from September 2025. In protest against this, its President Susantha Jayawardena says that his association has decided to reduce the number of bowsers used for fuel transport from today (27).
Speaking to the media yesterday (26) afternoon, he said that his association has decided to use only a limited number of fuel bowsers and the rest have been removed from service.
He emphasized that the authorities did not respond to the issues despite the demands made by his association.
