US, Australia to withdraw their deplomats from Middle East

The United States and Australia have ordered their their deplomats to leave Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates as tensions in the Middle East escalate.

The move to keep a limited number of essential personnel and withdraw the rest of the deplomats is reportedly due to Iran’s increased attacks on American diplomatic missions in the Gulf.

Meanwhile, Al Jazeera reported that the US has intensified its attacks on Iranian oil refineries and storage facilities. Tehran and Karaj were shrouded in thick smoke after the strikes on several Iranian fuel depots at midnight on Sunday. It is considered the most severe attack on Iran’s energy industry since the start of the war.
