The Colombo Magistrate’s Court today (20) ordered the release of former Ministry Secretary Anusha Palpita on bail, who was remanded on charges of acquiring assets illegally.
After considering the arguments presented by the officers of the Commission to Investigate Bribery or Corruption and the lawyers appearing for the suspect, Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama ordered his release on bail.
