He said that the National Jana Balawegaya had announced before the election that the mastermind of the Easter attack would be arrested, and that Ravi Seneviratne, Secretary to the Ministry of Public Security, had informed the Easter Commission in writing about the mastermind. However, the MP pointed out that the trial has begun without a mastermind.
He also said that since this case is being heard five days a week, the defendants have not been able to obtain legal assistance, which is a serious problem. He further said that the trial will be held today on the list of evidence prepared by Gotabaya Rajapaksa, and accordingly, it is suspected that this government has a deal with the Rajapaksas.
