Among those who participated in the Singapore Air Show that concluded recently were two prominent Sri Lankan rice businessmen, Araliya Rice tycoon Dudley Sirisena and Ratna Rice tycoon Mithrapala Lankeshawara, Aviation Voice reports.
Dev Kosala Samarajeewa, who attended the show on behalf of the website, said that he believes that both countries have received invitations to participate in such shows, and that he believes that both countries have received invitations for this show.

The website also states that businessman Dudley Sirisena held talks to purchase a US-made ”Bell 505 Jet Ranger” helicopter. The helicopter, which was manufactured in 2014, is reportedly worth nearly $2.2 million (Rs. 650 million).
Entrepreneur Mithrapala Lankeshwara currently owns an airline called Ratna Aviation and operates a Robinson R66 helicopter.
