Enrollment of school children for Grade 1 for the year 2026 will take place today (29).
Accordingly, the Ministry of Education states that the subject list related to Grade 1 will be implemented from this year under the new education reforms.
The national ceremony for enrolling school children for Grade 1 for this year is scheduled to be held at Gunasekara College, Athurugiriya this morning under the patronage of Education Minister, Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.
