The Speaker today (10) presented his decision on the no-confidence motion tabled by the opposition against Deputy Defence Minister Aruna Jayasekara to Parliament.
The Speaker stated that he could not accept the no-confidence motion as it was inconsistent with the provisions of the Constitution and was not in proper order.
