With effect from January 2024, Doctors’ Duty Interruption, Attendance and Transport Allowance (DAT) increased to Rs. 35,000 has been temporarily suspended.
Thus, steps have been taken to suspend the allowance due to the failure of the Treasury to provide it within the approved allocation limit.
However, until this problem is resolved promptly, the increased Rs. 35,000 will be temporarily suspended, according to the announcement issued by the Ministry of Health.
