It is reported that a special delegation of the International Monetary Fund is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka in early June. Foreign media say that this delegation will visit Sri Lanka before the first review proposed to be done on the financial facility given to Sri Lanka.
The International Monetary Fund has decided to send a delegation to Sri Lanka due to the intervention of European countries regarding the violation of human rights in Sri Lanka.
This group is also supposed to look into the alleged human rights violations in Sri Lanka and hold discussions with representatives of civil organizations in Sri Lanka.
