West Indies scored their first Test win in Australia in 27 years today

Shamar Joseph, a 24-year-old right-arm fast bowler who played his first Test match, was outstanding. He destroyed the Australian second innings by scoring 68 runs in 11.5 overs and taking 7 wickets. He took 11 wickets in the whole match.

Chasing a target of 216 runs in the fourth innings, Australia were bowled out for 207 runs. Steven Smith, who opened the innings, scored an unbeaten 91 and played an outstanding knock.

In the first innings, West Indies scored a total of 311 runs, with Kavem Hodge, Joshua Da Silva and Kevin Sinclair scoring half-centuries.
For Australia, Mitchell Starc took 4 wickets, Josh Hazlewood and Nathan Lyon took 2 wickets each.

In response, Australia ended their innings at 289 for the loss of 9 wickets. Usman Khawaja, Alex Carey and Pat Cummins scored half-centuries. For West Indies, Joseph took 4 wickets for 84 runs and Kemar Roach took 3 wickets.

The West Indies scored 193 all out in their second innings with Josh Hazlewood and Nathan Lyon taking 3 wickets each.
