The activities of Sri Lanka’s 76th Independence Day have already started. With the inauguration of President Ranil Wickremesinghe, the rest of the ceremony will begin.
The ceremony will be held at the Galle Mouth Square, and the Prime Minister of Thailand, Shretha Thavisin, will be the chief guest. ‘Let’s build a new country’ is the theme of this year’s Independence Day.
