Three people, including a schoolboy, who were travelling in the three-wheeler, were killed when a large tree near the main road fell on a three-wheeler that was travelling from the Nawalapitiya-Mapakanda area towards Nawalapitiya.
The accident occurred this morning (04) and a schoolboy and two women were killed in the accident, the police said. The driver of the three-wheeler survived the accident.
