Minister of Tourism, Lands, Sports and Youth Affairs Harin Fernando states that the current President Ranil Wickremesinghe saved a country that was about to die.
He said that the countries of the world are learning from Sri Lanka how a bankrupt state turned around in eighteen months. But unfortunately, “we don’t value our one,” the minister added.
The minister mentioned that many people in Greece, Lebanon, Zimbabwe and other countries are still suffering from bankruptcy. He made these comments while addressing the media after a function.
