The Road Development Authority has informed the residents of the area to evacuate immediately as the mountain that has been hit by a landslide in the 101 kilometer post area between Imaduwa and Pinnaduwa entrance of the Southern Expressway may further slide.
While this part of the landslide was being repaired, another part of it collapsed. At that time, 5 soldiers of the Special Task Force who were removing soil were injured and they were admitted to the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital.
