The final tournament of the Galle Cricket Carnival started this morning at the Baddegama Kumme Stadium under the participation of former Sri Lankan cricketer Sanath Jayasuriya.
The Galle Cricket Carnival organized by the Galle District Secretariat together with the Minister Manusha Nanayakakara, the preliminary rounds of the Galle Cricket Carnival were held in each divisional secretariat and the winning teams will participate in the finals held today.
An exhibition match in which former Sri Lankan players will participate is also scheduled to be held this evening. The Galle District Secretary, cricket players and officials of the Sri Lanka Cricket Institute were also present on this occasion.
