Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera says that the electricity bill will be reviewed and revised in July.
The minister stated in a Twitter message that the relevant amendments will be made according to the government’s policies and a cabinet decision taken in December 2022.
The Minister further states that it has been decided to introduce a cost-based price formula and to review and revise the price every year in January and July.
