Sapugaskanda Refinery will be closed next July for a maintenance purpose, Ceylon Petroleum Corporation says. For a mandatory maintenance work to be done once in three years, operations are to be suspended for a period of 45 days.
The corporation further mentions that after the maintenance of the refinery in 2021, it will start maintenance next July in accordance with international regulations and after that maintenance, the fuel production process can be operated at maximum capacity.
