President Ranil Wickramasinghe said that all the facts said by the opposition about the restructuring of local debt are false. He said this while attending a ceremony to mark the 32nd anniversary of the political career of Agriculture Minister Mahinda Amaraweera.
Therefore, the president asked the opposition leader to support the government together with the government without making any more false arguments. He invited the leader of the opposition to work together with government and prepare for the next presidential election by providing relief to the people.

The President also emphasized that by working together with the government, Sajith Premadasa’s tenure as the leader of the opposition will not be harmed.
