Ranil explains the reason for intervention in the Red Sea issue.

President Ranil Wickramasinghe said that Sri Lanka will provide necessary support to the United Nations every time there are problems related to peace in the region and the world.

He stated this yesterday (29) while addressing the Sri Lankan Air Force Cadets Commissioning Ceremony held at China Bay Air Force Base, Trincomalee.

President Ranil Wickremesinghe emphasized Sri Lanka’s commitment to protect the economic rights of the Red Sea and said that he will not budge against any threat that may arise in such a situation.

He emphasized that there is evidence that Sri Lanka as a country is committed to securing world peace and regional stability, and that it is ready to take decisive decisions for global peace.
