Samagi Jana Balawega Member of Parliament Dr. Rajitha Senaratne states that President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Podujana Peramuna are currently carrying out the program of the group they represent.
He further said that whether Sajith Premadasa or Ranil Wickramasinghe presents the program is a minor matter. He also said that staying in the house, where the Rajasana speech was held, was not a decision taken for the sake of the country, but a continuation of the political culture that has been implemented since the day he came to Parliament.
When the new session of the Parliament started yesterday, although the Samagi Jana Balawegaya boycotted the Parliament, Rajitha Senaratne, Kumar Welgama and others remained in the House rejecting the decision. However, opposition leader Sajith Premadasa said that disciplinary laws will be implemented against all those who acted contrary to the party’s decision.
