Namal challenges government over Thajudeen murder investigation

Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna National Organizer and MP Namal Rajapaksa says that even if the government tries to imprison him by fabricating fake evidence and filing a case based on it, it will not succeed.

He said this while attending a party meeting held in the Pelmadulla area yesterday.

He said that he is challenging the government to conduct an impartial investigation.

“Even if they try to fabricate false evidence and put us in prison, it will not succeed. Because we know that we have not done anything wrong in our conscience. Therefore, we challenge the government to conduct an impartial investigation. Stop unnecessary finger-pointing. Stop politicization.

Do not tarnish the honor of the officials of these institutions and structures. The government has a responsibility to protect their honor. Conduct impartial investigations and do it fairly. Do not make assumptions or create false evidence to influence. When the government goes to sleep at night, it sees a dream and looks at the person who sees that dream and makes a case for the next one. It mostly sees me and my father. ” He said
