According to the State Ministry of Finance, the highest number of applications have been received from Kalutara district which is 46% in the current survey to identify eligible persons for the payment of welfare benefits.
37 lakh applications received from 334 divisional secretariats all over the island, the work of checking the eligibility to provide welfare allowances is currently being done step by step.
