Education Minister Susil Premajayantha said that from March of this year, lunch will be provided to all children in primary grades and 16 million rupees have been allocated for that purpose. Accordingly, the amount allocated per day for one student is Rs. 110.
The Minister further said that all the necessary school textbooks for the year 2024 have been printed and arrangements have been made to provide the textbooks and uniforms to the school students immediately after the end of the third term.
