While going to arrest the driver of a lorry that was running in defiance of the police order, a sub-inspector’s firearm went off and the driver of the vehicle was shot and killed. This incident happened in Narammala-Dampalassa area.
The police said that the sub-inspector has been arrested in connection with the incident.
