Buckingham Palace says Britain’s King Charles III has a cancer.
It is not known what the cancer is. But it is reported that the king has recently being treated for a disease related to the prostate gland.
Buckingham Palace said the monarch began “regular treatment” for his condition yesterday and will suspend public duties during treatment.
The 75-year-old king “is completely positive about his treatment and hopes to return to full official duties as soon as possible,” the palace statement added.
A statement issued by Buckingham Palace said that King Charles, who had been a patron of many cancer-related charities during his time as Prince of Wales, decided to go public with his cancer treatment.
