Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera said today while addressing the Parliament that according to the fuel price formula, the people will be given considerable relief in April.
“We will continue to implement the price formula. The pricing formula worked once a month. It was implemented once a month in March. Therefore, we will operate according to the same price formula in April.
We see crude oil prices going down. The rupee is seen strengthening. Therefore, as the President has also instructed us, when we revise in April, we will work to provide relief to the people with fuel.”
