The Thambuttegama Police have successfully located crucial evidence concerning the death of Dr. Amila Sandakelum Dissanayake from Thambuttegama Hospital. The doctor passed away under mysterious circumstances while in his official residence.
The autopsy has confirmed that the doctor took his own life by injecting insulin. The Tambuttegama police have found needles, suspected to have been used for this purpose, burned behind the official residence.
As per the Chief of Police, sorce, the vaccine needles, which were partially burnt, will be submitted to the government anilyzer upon court order.
