Supreme Court Judge and President’s Counsel Yasantha Kodagoda has been appointed as the Acting Chief Justice. He was sworn in as the Acting Chief Justice before President Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the Presidential Secretariat today.
The President has made this appointment due to the absence of Chief Justice Preethi Padman Surasena abroad. Secretary to the President Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake was also present at the event.
