The wife of Bako Saman, a criminal who was arrested in Indonesia and has a red warrant, is currently under the protection of the Sri Lankan Embassy in Indonesia.
The police in that country have released her considering the fact that the Interpol has not issued a red notice regarding the crimes and that the Interpol has not submitted a criminal report against her.
Accordingly, she and her child are scheduled to be sent back to Sri Lanka in the next few days. Meanwhile, Public Security Minister Ananda Wijepala, who spoke to the media yesterday, stated that Kehelbaddara Padme, Bako Saman and others arrested in Indonesia will be brought to Sri Lanka in the next three days.
