We must change the wrong attitude that the entrepreneur is a robber

The Minister of Labor and Foreign Employment, Manusha Nanayakkara, said that the process started by the President by bringing decrees to stop fraud and corruption should be started by all as ministers, government employees and businessmen.

He said this today (10) at the launch of the ‘Atugalpura Smart Revolution’ and ‘Jayagamu Sri Lanka’ programs at the Kurunegala Vahera Stadium.

The minister remembered Kurunegala Jayanti Kurunegala climbing Mount Everest and said that Kurunegala youths who were born to a woman who overcame such a challenge also have the ability to conquer the world.

The Minister stated that the President has given instructions to give professional counseling by providing vocational training, setting up jobs, setting up smart youth clubs, and said that life can be overcome if you think optimistically.

“From a young age, in our country, it is said that an entrepreneur is a thief and a robber. We have been told that heroes are those who take money away from those who have it. Although I lost my father when I was 11 years old, I completed my education, entered the media and entered politics. So I became Sri Lanka’s youngest Labor Minister. Haw it happened, because I didn’t say no, no i cant. Even now I never say such words.

The President started with him. Bills were brought to stop fraud and corruption. The Gender Equality Act was recently introduced for women. The Women Entrepreneurship Act was brought. Money was given to strengthen the youth. Now we have to start as cabinet ministers. The state machinery should start this from the ministry secretaries. Businessmen want to start different from me. Today, the treasury has 300 billion rupees in surplus. If there is an emergency, give people food, drink, oil and gas.
