Several viral fevers are spreading among children these days, said Dr. Deepal Perera, a pediatrician at Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital, Colombo.
He said that among them is the condition of influenza. If there are symptoms of cough, cold, fever, headache and vomiting, it can be the condition of influenza.
He mentioned that influenza is a contagious disease and care should be taken if there are children with these symptoms in schools and day care centers.
