The Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Committee has appointed Dasun Shanaka as the new vice-captain of the T20 cricket team.
Sports fans have been accusing the cricket administration of not giving Dasun Shanaka the position he deserves, having previously served as the team’s captain.
Dasun Shanaka will serve as the vice-captain when the Sri Lankan team, led by Charith Asalanka, tours Pakistan next month. A 16-member squad has already been selected for the Pakistan tour and has been sent to the Sports Minister for approval.
