President Anura Dissanayake has had to face a major setback due to the government’s ministers and ministers, says Venerable Elle Gunawansa Thero, the incumbent of the Colombo Dharmayanadhipathi.
“Even though Anura Dissanayake has become the President, look at the people around him. The President has had to speak on everything after coming to Parliament. He fills the bucket with great difficulty, and others send it away with a shovel. He tries to fix this by saying something, and they destroy it by saying something that is a mouthful.
Some ministers and ministers made very derogatory statements about Buddhism. If only those people could at least keep their mouths shut. Don’t think that we have forgotten them. We are at a point where we are recognizing the beauty of the animal.” Elle Hunawansa Thero said.
