State Minister of Finance Ranjith Siyambalapitiya said that it has been decided to include 14 areas in the tax process which have not received any attention in tax collection so far. The minister mentioned this while speaking to the media in Kegalle.
State Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, who further commented on the new fields, said:
Accordingly, he said, the Local Income Tax Department is conducting a clear investigation on the inclusion of many services including large-scale tutoring classes, private schools, provision of private medical services, engineering services, surveying services in the tax system.
He emphasized that no one has a chance to evade tax payments.
