A pair of brown bears, a pair of hyenas and three pairs of meer cats have arrived in Sri Lanka from the United Arab Emirates under the National Animal Exchange Program.
The hyena pair has been sent to the Rideegama Safari Park and the other animals to the Dehiwala Zoological garden for a month of quarantine.
The National Zoological garden said that the animals will be sent for public exhibition after the quarantine period.
It is said that these animals were brought to the country yesterday (10).
