The Criminal Investigation Department has arrested four senior officers of the Medical Supply Department in connection with the purchase of substandard human immunoglobulin injection vials.
Accordingly, the Director of the Medical Supply Division, Dr. Kapila Wickramanayake, Assistant Director Devashantha Solomon, Accountant (Supply) Neran Dhananjaya and Stock Controller Sujith Kumara have been arrested so far, Police Media Spokesman, Lawyer Nihal Talduwa said.
