Thevarapperuma’s cause of death was damage to internal organs

The cause of death of former Deputy Minister Palitha Thevarapperuma was revealed to be severe damage to internal organs due to electrocution, according to the post-mortem examination.

The examination was conducted by the Chief Forensic Officer at Nagoda General Hospital. Following the post-mortem, the body has been handed over to his wife.

Family members have stated that the final rites for the former deputy minister’s body will be conducted next Friday (19).
