Harin Fernando, Minister of Lands, Tourism, Sports and Youth Affairs says, It is essential that the leaders of U.N.P and the S.J.B find a solution to the misunderstanding between two parties.
Speaking to the media, he said that there is no difference between the United National Party and the United People’s Force, and both parties have people who have worked together.
He said that the reason for the rise in popularity of the National People’s Power was the weakness of the main opposition rather than that party’s talent. He mentioned that normally the main opposition should be ready to take the government power but at this time Samagi Jana Balawegaya is getting out of that situation.
Minister Harin Fernando said that everyone should respect President Ranil Wickremesinghe for taking over the country that no one refused to take over during the crisis and rescuing it from bankruptcy.
